We have undertaken many kinds of electrical work, for example, wiring commercial units on industrial estates, complete rewires - some with emergency lighting and fire alarm systems - in various types of buildings, wiring of new-build homes and extensions, alterations and additions in some of the schools in the county, not to mention electrical improvements in many dozens of council houses in Cardigan, Lampeter, Aberystwyth and their surrounding districts for Ceredigion County Council. Inspection and Testing If you are selling your house, the prospective buyers' mortgage lenders will probably want a report on the condition of the wiring. If you own a commercial property, your insurance company and/or local authority will probably ask you for the same kind of report. HMO properties now need a Periodic Inspection Report in order to obtain a license. We also carry out periodic inspections for leisure vehicles (caravan parks). Electrical We undertake all kinds of domestic and commercial electrical work, from maintenance and repair to rewires and new installations. All our work is carried out, tested and certificated in accordance with BS 7671:2008 17th Edition IEE Requirements For Electrical Installations. We also prepare reports for insurance companies. Fire Alarms / Emergency Lighting As well as annual servicing and inspection of these installations in HMO or commercial properties, we also offer design, installation and commissioning for new or replacement systems, as well as fault-finding and repairs . The Health And Safety Executive states that 25% of all reportable electrical accidents involve portable appliances, and portable appliance testing is an important part of any health & safety policy.
